Sports India Community

We’re not just what our name suggests at Lazarus Sports; we’re leagues ahead. Our high performance philosophy, our integrated fitness programmes, and our health and wellness sessions are centred around our goal of putting sport front and centre. We want to revolutionise the way sports are thought about in India, the way they’re played, and how they’re accessed. How do we go about doing that? Great question. We need you.

Community has always been and always will be part of the genetic code of any sport. Without people to share it with and push you to get better on the field, track, or court, sports don’t mean much. From football to tennis to basketball to cricket that’s what it’s all about. And nowhere can you find a truer form of sporting community than in India’s own culture of gully sport. It brings people together, no matter how good they are or where they live. That’s what sport is all about: getting together with your friends, playing hard, and making bonds that last a lifetime. That’s the kind of community we want to build and improve at Lazarus. We want to take our amazing gully sport tradition to the next level and get it off the streets.

We want to bring it to your apartments, to your schools, and to your colleges. We want to help you get in touch with what sport is really about: playing hard, pushing harder, and bonding your hardest. Our high-performance training and guidance philosophy promises to help you do better than you thought you could in a safe environment that keeps all the things that make sports so great. What if every kid playing cricket on the sidewalk had the chance to be the best version of themselves and grow up with their friends? What if you could go back in time to when you used to drink Tang with your best friends after a dangerous game of football in the sun? We want to give you exactly that.

We need you. We need you to join us in this group. To get sports back to their roots, we need your help. We’ll give you a better sense of who you are, the magic of a supportive community, and a lot of fun in return.
